About the role

Software Development team at WSP builds enterprise‑grade, scalable cloud applications for infrastructure consulting. The Principal Software Developer leads refactoring of an MVP to a multi‑tenant SaaS platform, designs API gateways, implements Azure cloud services, and drives AI‑augmented coding to accelerate delivery. Based in Noida, India with hybrid work (3 days onsite) and secondary location in Bengaluru, India.

What you’ll do

• Develop and enhance cloud‑native applications using .NET/C# and Azure Functions
• Build scalable backend services with Node.js/Express and PostgreSQL
• Create responsive UI components in Angular with lazy loading and performance tuning
• Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards
• Perform unit, integration, and UAT testing and support deployments
• Collaborate with architects, QA, and product owners to deliver features
• Monitor application health, optimize performance, and ensure security compliance

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 8+ years professional software development experience

Nice to have

• Refactor and harden MVP for multi‑tenant SaaS deployment
• Migrate database from SQLite to PostgreSQL and implement schema versioning
• Containerise Azure deployment and configure CI/CD pipelines
• Migrate frontend from Vanilla JS to Angular and implement state management
• Design API gateway, authentication (OAuth2/OIDC) and RBAC
• Implement observability, logging, tracing, and performance monitoring
• Use AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate development
