About the role
Helpshift Platform team builds and secures the core infrastructure services. The DevOps Engineer II designs CI/CD pipelines, automates cloud migrations, and ensures monitoring and security across ScyllaDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka and other systems. Pune, hybrid work model with on‑site collaboration.
What you’ll do
- Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines
- Own production services monitoring and incident response
- Build zero‑downtime infrastructure migration processes
- Develop IaC templates for cloud resources
- Integrate security practices into SDLC
- Mentor junior team members
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong UNIX/Linux administration (Ubuntu)
- Proficient with networking, security, IAM
- Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
- IaC tools: Ansible, Puppet, Terraform
- Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Heroku
- Experience with NoSQL/RDBMS and queuing systems
- Scripting in Python, Shell, Perl
