Enterprise Data Organization | Distribution and Data Platforms – Data Management Tech at S&P Global focuses on delivering reliable, high‑performance data integration solutions. The Associate Director leads the engineering roadmap for SaaS‑based enterprise catalog platforms, shepherds end‑to‑end development, and ensures secure, compliant, observable cloud‑native deployments. Based in Hyderabad and Gurugram, India, this role operates on‑site with a hybrid work model as needed.

What you’ll do

Define and execute engineering roadmap for enterprise catalog SaaS solutions
Oversee full software development lifecycle from design to cloud‑native deployment automation
Architect shared capabilities for federated consumption across divisions
Ensure systems meet security, compliance, auditability, and observability standards
Collaborate with product, compliance, and business teams to align delivery

What you’ll bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
10+ years software engineering experience
4+ years direct leadership of software and quality engineering teams
Experience delivering SaaS‑based platform integrations in data/metadata domains
Proven ability to lead and scale cloud engineering programs in data‑driven environments
Strong communication skills translating architecture to non‑technical audiences
Agile mindset with change management experience

Modern Java (JDK17+) development
