About the role
Medical Imaging Hardware Team at Quest Global designs and develops hardware for MRI control and acquisition systems in hospitals. The Senior Hardware Engineer creates analog and digital schematics, layouts, and integrates components from concept through production, ensuring compliance with medical device standards. Based in Pune, India, this role is on-site with a 40‑hour work week, collaborating with RF, mechanical, and systems engineers.
What you’ll do
- Design, model, and layout analog and digital hardware for MRI systems
- Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and verify component performance
- Document requirements, specifications, design reviews, test procedures and reports
- Coordinate and support product testing for traceable verification
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities and address end‑of‑life issues
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
- 10-15 years electronic hardware development, preferably medical devices
- Experience with analog/mixed‑signal board design and power electronics
- Proficiency in Cadence or Mentor Graphics PCB tools
- Simulation using SPICE, ADS, Microwave Office, Matlab, Python
- Design for manufacturability, reliability, EMI/EMC compliance
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
