About the role
Hardware Engineering team at Quest Global develops medical device hardware from concept to production. The Senior Hardware Engineer designs circuits, creates schematics, and leads PCB layout for high‑density, low‑power modules, while supporting integration and EMI/EMC testing. Based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, on‑site work required.
What you’ll do
- Design circuits and processor/FPGA boards to meet hardware specifications
- Create schematics, guide PCB layout, and perform board bring‑up
- Provide hardware support during system integration and EMI/EMC testing
- Own hardware modules, optimize cost and component selection
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to resolve issues
What you’ll bring
- 3-6 years hardware design experience
- Circuit design and simulation
- Schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium or Cadence
- ARM Cortex, TI, NXP or STM32 microcontrollers
- I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, Ethernet protocols
- Xilinx/Altera FPGA design
- Analog/digital signal conditioning and power supply design
- Lab equipment troubleshooting
