About the role

DAIV System Team at Thermo Fisher Scientific provides CI/CD infrastructure, developer tooling, AI enablement, and cybersecurity support for desktop and web product teams across EMEA. The DevOps Engineer builds and maintains pipelines, automates workflows, and ensures secure software lifecycle practices while collaborating with engineers, architects, and cybersecurity specialists. Bangalore, hybrid work model, occasional travel for global collaboration.

What you’ll do

Implement and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines
Support build, test, packaging, and deployment activities
Create automation scripts and documentation
Operate code, dependency, container, and secret scanning
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver improvements

What you’ll bring

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
3-6 years DevOps experience

Nice to have

Git and CI/CD platform (GitHub Actions or GitLab CI)
Python, .NET, Docker, Linux
Experience with build tools (CMake, Kubernetes)
Understanding of secure SDLC practices
Strong communication in English
