Team Lead - Data & Analytics Operations (SAP BW On Hana)

About the role

The Team Lead – Data & Analytics Operations at Lennox leads and manages a team responsible for supporting, monitoring, and continuously improving enterprise analytics platforms and reporting solutions. Day-to-day work includes owning end-to-end operational support for analytics platforms, dashboards, and reporting solutions; coordinating incident, problem, and change management; driving production issue resolution through troubleshooting and root cause analysis; and maintaining operational documentation, SOPs, and support playbooks. The role also supports the analytics modernization roadmap, including migration initiatives involving Azure Synapse Analytics and Databricks, and manages operations and monitoring related to Databricks and Synapse. Based in Chennai, IN, the role requires flexible work from the office all five days a week.

What you’ll do

• Own end-to-end operational support for analytics platforms, dashboards, and reporting solutions
• Support and actively contribute to the organization's analytics modernization roadmap, including migration initiatives involving Azure Synapse Analytics and Databricks
• Ensure adherence to defined SLAs and operational KPIs
• Coordinate incident, problem, and change management activities
• Drive resolution of production issues through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, support playbooks, and knowledge repositories
• Manage operations and monitoring related to Databricks and Synapse

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 12–17 years in the analytical space
• At least 5 years' experience as a Lead
• Extensive work with SAP BW, Qlik, and BODS
• Good knowledge of SAP Functional modules such as SD, MM, PP, FI
• Experience with BI tools like PowerBI/Qlik
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible to work from the office all 5 days a week

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Azure Synapse and Databricks is highly desirable and considered a significant advantage
• Experience supporting the organization's analytics modernization roadmap, including migration initiatives involving Azure Synapse Analytics and Databricks
