About the role

AI Unit at Bajaj Finance leads the design and development of a conversational AI platform delivered as a mobile SDK and web application. The team builds scalable, secure, enterprise‑grade chatbot solutions, integrating AI/LLM capabilities, microservices, and cloud‑native infrastructure. The Lead drives system architecture, end‑to‑end delivery, DevOps pipelines, and mentors engineers while collaborating across product, AI, security, and operations. Pune Corporate Office – On-site.

What you’ll do

• Own overall technical design and architecture of the conversational AI platform
• Lead end‑to‑end feature delivery from design to production
• Define and enforce coding standards and design principles
• Guide CI/CD strategy, deployment, and operational stability
• Mentor and coach UI and frontend engineers
• Collaborate with product, AI, security, and DevOps teams
• Ensure auditability, analytics, and observability in user flows
• Manage technical risks and mitigation plans

What you’ll bring

• 7-8 years software engineering experience
• 2+ years technical leadership
• Experience with conversational AI platforms and LLM integration
• Microservices and API‑first architecture
• Cloud deployment on AWS/Azure/GCP
• CI/CD pipelines, containerization, Kubernetes
• Backend development with Node.js or Python
• Frontend development with Angular or React

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
