About the role

AI Unit at Bajaj Finance leads the design and development of a conversational AI platform delivered as a mobile SDK and web application. The team owns system architecture, security, and production readiness while collaborating with product, AI, security, and DevOps groups. Lead, Senior Lead role based in Pune, on-site, overseeing engineering standards, delivery timelines, and mentoring engineers.

What you’ll bring

• 7-8 years software engineering experience
• 2+ years technical leadership role
• Experience with microservices, API-first, cloud-native architecture
• Hands‑on development with Node.js or Python backend
• Frontend expertise in Angular or React
• Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities like intent detection and dialogue management
• Proficiency with AWS/Azure/GCP, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis or similar data stores

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
