About the role

AI Unit at Bajaj Finance leads domain strategy and reasoning design for Agentic AI across Risk, Underwriting, HR, and RCU. The role architects domain knowledge bases, rule engines, and orchestration logic, translating policy and compliance documents into machine‑interpretable structures. Pune, Maharashtra, India, on‑site work model, senior leadership level.

What you’ll do

• Lead end‑to‑end domain modelling and reasoning architecture for Agentic AI use cases
• Define agent guardrails, fallback behaviors, and risk thresholds
• Architect and maintain domain knowledge bases and decision flows
• Design logging schemas and interpretability checkpoints for audit and compliance
• Collaborate with tech teams to integrate domain logic into multi‑agent frameworks
• Drive testing, bias checks, and reasoning audits to ensure reliability
• Partner with Credit, Risk, HR, Compliance, and Investigations teams to refine domain accuracy
• Prioritize new high‑value use cases and shape the agent roadmap

What you’ll bring

• 8-12 years experience in Risk, Underwriting, HR, Compliance or RCU domains
• Exposure to AI or automation frameworks
• Strong understanding of credit policy and risk scoring
• Familiarity with decision systems and rule engines
• Working knowledge of Agentic AI, LLM reasoning, and orchestration pipelines
• Ability to translate policy‑heavy content into structured logic
• Excellent stakeholder communication and cross‑functional alignment
