About the role

AI Unit at Bajaj Finance leads domain strategy and reasoning design for Agentic AI across Risk, Underwriting, HR, and RCU. The Lead architects domain knowledge bases, rule engines, and orchestration logic, translating policies and guidelines into machine‑interpretable structures and ensuring auditability and compliance. Based in Pune Corporate Office – Mantri, on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Lead end‑to‑end domain modelling and reasoning architecture for Agentic AI use cases
• Define agent guardrails, fallback behaviors, escalation routes and risk thresholds
• Architect and maintain domain knowledge bases and decision flows
• Design logging schemas and interpretability checkpoints for audit and compliance
• Collaborate with Agentic AI tech team to integrate domain logic into multi‑agent systems
• Drive testing, bias checks and reasoning audits to ensure reliability and fairness
• Partner with Credit, Risk, HR, Compliance and Investigations teams to refine domain accuracy
• Prioritize new high‑value use cases and shape the agent roadmap

What you’ll bring

• 8-12 years experience in risk, underwriting, HR, compliance or RCU
• Strong understanding of credit policy and risk scoring frameworks
• Deep familiarity with decision systems and rule engines
• Experience with AI or automation, preferably Agentic AI
• Ability to translate policy documents into structured logic
• Excellent stakeholder communication and cross‑functional alignment
