About the role

Business Solutions Group (BSG) at Morgan Stanley drives strategic capital markets transformation, focusing on post‑trade, settlement and market infrastructure modernization. The Senior Associate/Manager/Senior Manager leads business analysis and program delivery for T+1 settlement migration and related initiatives, partnering with business, technology, risk and legal teams across APAC. Based in Mumbai with an on‑site work model, the role involves stakeholder management, governance, and driving process automation to improve settlement efficiency.

What you’ll do

• Lead business analysis and program delivery for T+1 settlement and post‑trade transformation across APAC markets
• Partner with Business, Operations, Technology, Risk, Finance and Legal to implement regulatory and market‑driven changes
• Gather requirements, perform impact assessments, document current and target state processes, and define solutions
• Drive cross‑functional program governance including planning, RAID management, dependency tracking and executive reporting
• Coordinate SIT/UAT planning, business readiness and production implementation activities
• Analyse trade‑lifecycle impacts across execution, clearing, settlement, custody and reconciliation
• Support operating model redesign, process optimization and automation initiatives
• Create polished presentations for senior management and stakeholders

What you’ll bring

• 5-10+ years experience in management consulting or transformation
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, post‑trade operations, clearing and settlement
• Experience delivering regulatory change or market‑infrastructure programs
• Proven business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis
• Experience managing cross‑functional delivery across Business, Operations and Technology
• Ability to prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories and executive reports
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
• BS/BA degree required
