About the role

Observability team at Northern Trust drives enterprise‑scale monitoring transformation using ServiceNow ITOM Event Management and Dynatrace. The Senior Lead designs low‑noise event management, implements AI‑driven root‑cause analysis, and automates observability‑as‑code with Terraform and CI/CD. Pune, India, on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Lead design of ServiceNow ITOM Event Management including correlation and deduplication
• Drive noise‑reduction initiatives and improve signal‑to‑noise ratio
• Implement AI (Davis) for root‑cause analysis and alert correlation
• Integrate observability tools with ServiceNow via APIs and Terraform
• Track KPIs such as MTTR, alert reduction, and incident quality
• Promote observability‑as‑code practices using CI/CD pipelines

What you’ll bring

• 12+ years in Observability, Monitoring, or ITOM
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow ITOM Event Management
• Extensive experience with Dynatrace observability platform
• Hands‑on with cloud environments Azure/AWS/Hybrid
• Strong knowledge of ITIL event lifecycle processes
• Automation/scripting using Python or PowerShell

Nice to have

• Dynatrace Certification (preferred)
• ServiceNow ITOM Certification (optional)
• Microsoft Azure Certifications (optional)
