Senior Observability Architect

About the role

Observability Architecture team at Grafana Labs builds and scales the open observability cloud platform. The Senior Observability Architect designs end‑to‑end observability solutions, leads technical discovery, onboarding and enablement for enterprise customers, and acts as the voice of the customer to shape product roadmaps. Remote, India, 100% remote work model, up to 25% travel as needed.

What you’ll do

• Serve as primary technical point of contact for a portfolio of Grafana customers
• Design and guide customers' observability maturity journeys and technical roadmaps
• Provide expert troubleshooting, health checks and RCA to drive adoption and retention
• Collaborate with Engagement Managers and internal teams to shape product feedback
• Conduct training sessions, workshops and develop technical documentation
• Identify cost‑optimization and expansion opportunities for customers

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years technical support, TAM, consulting or professional services experience
• Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of observability solutions, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Math or related field or equivalent experience
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously
