Director - Enterprise AI Transformation

About the role
QAD seeks a Director of Enterprise AI Transformation to lead the internal AI leverage agenda, translating productivity goals into a governed roadmap. The role defines operating models for adoption, governance, and value tracking while coordinating reference architecture across functions. This position is based in Pune with a Remote work model.
What you’ll do
- Own the enterprise internal AI leverage roadmap and prioritize use cases by value and risk
- Define the internal AI governance model and intake processes in partnership with IT and Legal
- Coordinate reference architecture and standard patterns for connecting AI tools to systems
- Establish usage, access, and spend controls for approved AI capabilities
- Track delivery progress, adoption, and financial value across the AI portfolio
- Lead Functional AI Enablement Leads and AI/Data Integration Engineers
- Prepare leadership updates and board-ready summaries on initiative performance
- Ensure pilots have clear success criteria for scaling, pivoting, or shutdown
What you’ll bring
- 8-15+ years experience in digital/AI transformation, enterprise automation, or consulting
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, data architecture, and AI tools
- Experience working across business and technology teams
- Ability to engage directly with C-suite executives (CFO, COO, etc.)
