About the role
EnCharge AI, a leader in advanced AI hardware and software for edge-to-cloud computing, builds next‑generation in‑memory silicon solutions. As a Staff/Senior Staff Physical Design Engineer (Technical Lead) you will own physical delivery of critical sub‑chip blocks, develop custom PPA recipes, drive automation with Tcl/Python, and mentor a small PD team while coordinating with RTL, DFT, and synthesis groups. Bangalore, hybrid work model, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Lead a small PD team and set architectural direction
- Own critical sub‑chip blocks through floorplan to sign‑off
- Develop custom PPA recipes and convergence strategies
- Create Tcl/Python scripts for flow automation
- Manage risks and coordinate with RTL/DFT/Synthesis
- Ensure sign‑off criteria including STA, EM/IR, verification
- Drive left‑shift optimizations to meet tape‑out schedule
- Mentor engineers and raise technical standards
What you’ll bring
