About the role
Empower Retirement seeks a Senior Analyst Workday Reporting to design, develop, and maintain advanced Workday reports and dashboards that support HR and business decision‑making. The role involves creating complex reports (advanced, matrix, composite, BIRT) using Workday Report Writer and Designer, leveraging data sources, discovery boards, worksheets, dashboards, and scheduling for automated solutions. The analyst will ensure data integrity, performance, and compliance through audits, regression testing, and monitoring. Collaboration with Workday community and internal stakeholders is essential to share best practices and drive continuous improvement. The position requires strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with a focus on delivering user‑friendly reporting tools that translate business requirements into actionable insights.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, configure, and test complex Workday reports
- Create automated, scalable reporting solutions using Workday tools
- Maintain consistent, trusted user experience with optimal performance
- Design reports for operational and strategic projects
- Review system upgrades/releases and conduct regression testing
- Collaborate with Workday community for best practices
- Perform reporting audits for accuracy and compliance
- Provide support and training for Workday reporting issues
What you’ll bring
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
Nice to have
- 5+ years HR reporting/HRIS admin, 3+ years Workday report writing
- Deep knowledge of Workday data sources and complex calculated fields
- Detail-oriented data analysis and confidentiality
- Experience utilizing trended data sources for report creation
- Demonstrated experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Superior collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Team player and self-starter, adaptable to change

- In-depth knowledge of Workday reporting capabilities & data architecture
