Operations Deal Manager

About the role

Operations team at Microsoft drives end‑to‑end deal management across India. The Operations Deal Manager partners with Sales, Licensing and Finance stakeholders to build work‑back plans, forecast deal volume, and ensure credit capacity while mitigating risk for complex transactions. This role operates on‑site in India, collaborating with senior leaders to improve processes through AI‑enabled automation and citizen development.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain work‑back plans and pipeline tracking for assigned markets
• Provide accurate deal and order volume forecasts to senior leadership
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to secure credit capacity and de‑risk deals
• Apply policy and program knowledge to guide stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle
• Drive operational excellence through process improvement and risk mitigation initiatives
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leaders and senior executives

What you’ll bring

• 4+ years program or process management experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field
• Strong verbal and written English proficiency
• Deep understanding of licensing models and sales excellence processes
• Ability to analyze data trends and build forecasts
• Experience leveraging AI, Copilot, automation for operational efficiency
