About the role

As a Principal Embedded Software Engineer, you will spearhead the design, implementation, and testing of the core software stack for our networking devices. Your responsibilities include leading architecture and integration of embedded firmware, device drivers, and safety‑critical applications, as well as creating automated unit and system tests to ensure reliability. You will work closely with hardware teams to configure and monitor communication devices, and you will contribute to the development of firmware that meets stringent functional safety standards such as ISO 26262. The role demands deep expertise in C/C++ programming, embedded firmware for Ethernet, and experience with safety‑critical qualification processes. What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Software
• 10+ years embedded software experience
• Strong SDLC knowledge

• Hardware interaction with embedded processors
• Efficient code optimization
