About the role
Axis Bank Ltd. seeks a Branch:Teller (Branch Relationship Officer) in Cuttack to serve as the face of the bank for retail customers. The role involves providing financial solutions, cross-selling retail and third-party products, generating referrals, processing transactions within turnaround time, and occasionally handling cash as a teller. Daily work includes CRM logging, customer engagement, compliance adherence, and promoting digital banking channels.
What you’ll do
- Offer solutions and cross-sell bank’s retail banking and third-party products as per assigned budgets
- Achieve business budgets consistently on a monthly basis
- Generate referrals and leads of new customers for sale of bank’s products
- Promote bank’s products through marketing activities and customer visits outside the branch
- Contact existing customers to bring in more deposits and cross-sell products
- Process customer transactions and requests timely and accurately
- Handle customer queries and provide correct solutions to avoid complaints
- Follow compliance guidelines and ensure optimum audit rating
What you’ll bring
- Graduation or Post-Graduation from a recognized institute
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of banking regulations and norms
- Good networking and relationship building skills
- Good communication (verbal and written) in English and the local language
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- High level of knowledge of banking products and services
