About the role
The Commercial Banking Group at AXIS BANK LTD. delivers integrated banking solutions to clients with turnovers between Rs 10 Crs. and Rs 250 Crs. in Guwahati. As a Sales Manager for DSA Business Loans, you will lead a team of executives and Direct Selling Agents to source business, cross-sell products, and manage end-to-end loan processes from login to disbursement. The role involves conducting sales promotions, launching new products, liaising with credit and operations departments, and coaching team members to meet top-line targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do
- Ensure achievement of top-line business targets by sourcing business through channel teams (DSA) and building relationships with bank DSAs
- Cross-sell other products to existing customers
- Conduct sales promotion activities through DSA and Sales Executives in open market, including expos and events
- Handle all end-to-end activities related to the product from login to disbursement
- Liaise with various departments (Credit/Operations) to ensure smooth process flows
- Acquire channel partners for sourcing products such as Connectors and DSAs
- Prevent or minimize fraudulent/risky proposals from entering the system
- Conduct training for Sales executives and DSAs on selling and product knowledge
What you’ll bring
- Graduation or Post-Graduation from a recognized institute
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
- Excellent lead generation and conversion skill
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to manage complex client situations
- Ability to coach and mentor others
- Good communication skills in English and the local language
- High sales orientation to consistently meet sales targets
