About the role
The REALM Team in Hyderabad seeks a Support Engineer III to provide first-level support for Amazon Transportation Technology services. This role involves troubleshooting production issues, developing monitoring solutions, and automating support processes across diverse platforms. The position is based in Hyderabad, India, with a Hybrid work model.
What you’ll do
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix production software issues
- Develop monitoring solutions and proactive detection mechanisms
- Perform software maintenance, configuration, and SQL queries
- Implement fixes for internally developed code (Perl, Ruby, Java)
- Build tools and automations to optimize systems and simplify processes
- Work with development teams on technical mitigations and deep dives
- Update and enhance current software and document systems
- Coordinate between Development, Operations, and IT Support groups
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years of software development or technical support experience
- Experience scripting in modern programming languages
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
Nice to have
- Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development
- Experience troubleshooting & maintaining hardware & software RAID
- Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON
