Specialist III

About the role

This Specialist III role sits within a newly created team at TransUnion responsible for delivering process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across multi-locations. Day-to-day, the Process Engineer reviews operational processes, facilitates LEAN/WorkOut workshops, drives change with operational leaders, and embeds LEAN Six Sigma methodology to deliver business transformation. Based in Chennai, this is a remote position that may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at management's discretion.

What you’ll do

• Set up, facilitate and lead service improvement / 'WorkOut' sessions with a range of business stakeholders
• Review processes within the Operations environment (internal and external) and recommend efficiency and effectiveness changes
• Drive changes in the Operational environment together with Operational Leaders
• Take ownership of change initiatives from efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls
• Elicit requirements and drive process change using staff interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business analysis and workflow anal
• Identify trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system
• Set up a program, deliver coaching and run projects pan jurisdiction
• Complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery and identify improvements for future projects

What you’ll bring

• Minimum accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, preferably Black Belt
• Minimum 6-8 years proven continuous improvement experience from a similar role, including project management and business analysis
• Excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts including Six Sigma, Lean, value stream mapping
• Experience of designing or implementing a framework of continuous improvement in a multijurisdictional organisation
• Experience of hands-on implementation of continuous improvement programs and Lean solutions
• Experience of designing remediation plans to address productivity and efficiency issues, with a track record of following through to closure
• Strong analytical, project and product management skills, including translating business needs into operational requirements
• Business Degree or equivalent work experience
