About the role

Field Services team at Baker Hughes delivers critical controls and commissioning solutions for offshore energy projects. The Field Specialist III executes operating service procedures, manages equipment inventory, performs pressure testing, and leads troubleshooting and maintenance activities. Based in Kakinada, India, this on-site role follows a flexible work schedule.

What you’ll do

• Follow and execute Operating Service and Project Related Procedures
• Control inventory of Baker Hughes equipment offshore
• Perform function tests, repairs, and pressure testing of equipment
• Prepare work status and problem reports for customers or projects
• Assist in planning and shipping of equipment
• Lead and assist workshop personnel as needed
• Ensure daily operation reports are updated and handed over
• Comply with EHS and quality management requirements

What you’ll bring

• 10 years relevant experience in topside commissioning/controls
• Skilled at discussing technical problems with customers
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repair work
• Completed training courses appropriate to FSE grade
• Good knowledge of Baker Hughes products and equipment
• Proficient with Baker Hughes digital processes (GRID, NPT, SIRCam, Agility, EPIMS, Zinc)
• Working proficiency in written and spoken English
• Familiar with offshore/onshore installation processes
