Lead QA Engineer

About the role

Circana seeks a Lead QA Engineer in Pune to ensure the quality of its B2C mobile applications. The role involves designing automation scripts, executing test plans for iOS and Android platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product reliability. This is an on-site position based in Pune, Maharashtra.

What you’ll do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and scripts for manual and automated testing
• Conduct thorough testing of iOS and Android applications to identify defects
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using tools like Appium and Espresso
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Product Owners to define requirements
• Monitor and report on software defects and test execution results
• Manage bug reports and prioritize feature requests with developers
• Drive root cause analysis and risk mitigation for critical defects
• Foster a culture of quality by providing mentorship and guidance to the team

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 6-8 years experience as QA engineer/analyst
• Focus on iOS and Android application testing
• Proficiency in Java or Python programming
• Experience with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG frameworks

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment
