Senior Specialist, Supplier Quality

About the role

This role supports a partner company managing supplier quality across India. The Senior Specialist owns the supplier qualification program, conducts on-site audits, and leads corrective actions to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance. The position is fully remote with regular travel to supplier facilities.

What you’ll do

• Own end-to-end supplier qualification program for partners and co-manufacturers
• Conduct and coordinate on-site audits at supplier and manufacturing sites
• Lead corrective action processes from root-cause investigation to remediation
• Build and analyze supplier scorecards to monitor performance and compliance
• Verify compliance with GFSI standards, cGMP, and food safety expectations
• Support new supplier onboarding and quality readiness for product launches
• Identify emerging quality risks proactively and develop practical solutions
• Travel regularly to supplier facilities for multi-day engagements

What you’ll bring

• 2–5 years of professional experience in supplier quality or related field
• HACCP certification with practical application experience
• Internal Auditor certification with hands-on audit experience
• Direct experience with GFSI frameworks (SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000)
• Strong knowledge of FDA food safety regulations
