What you’ll do
- Secure high‑level suppliers and support selection via robust qualification
- Lead solutions for supplier component concerns and drive APQP/PPAP
- Manage corrective and preventive actions to control PPM
- Assess supplier capabilities for cost, quality, capacity, and compliance
- Track performance indicators and develop supplier scorecards
- Conduct Lean workshops and quality system improvement projects
- Provide technical expertise to customers and resolve supply issues
- Manage supplier relationships and global team interactions
What you’ll bring
- 12-15 years supplier development experience
- Hands‑on with PPAP, APQP, quality tools
- IMDS proficiency
- Stamping and welding knowledge
- Press tools, gauges, fixture development
- VDA 6.3 auditor certification
- Tier‑1 experience 10+ years
- Team leadership of 3‑4 associates
