About the role

Procurement and Supply Continuity team at Cummins drives supplier performance and capacity to meet demand. The Senior Specialist conducts complex sourcing analysis, presents improvement recommendations to leadership, and serves as the communication conduit between manufacturing sites and critical suppliers. Based in Pune, India, this on-site role involves travel to key suppliers and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

What you’ll do

• Conduct complex sourcing analysis and present findings to procurement leadership
• Prepare and present improvement recommendations and alternative actions
• Support linkage between procurement and manufacturing facilities
• Evaluate sourcing procedures and ensure consistent application
• Assist vendor management, industry and market analysis
• Lead analysis projects and coach junior analysts
• Develop effective supplier relationships
• Manage capacity, delivery, and issue resolution projects
• Support engineering releases and change management processes
