About the role
This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and optimal equipment uptime. The electrician troubleshoots a range of components—including circuit diagrams, starters, VFDs, UPS units, air conditioners, and diesel generators—while maintaining detailed documentation and spares inventory. Coordination with cross‑functional teams and adherence to EHS protocols are essential for smooth plant operations.
What you’ll do
- Follow EHS guidelines and protocols
- Conduct preventive maintenance per schedule
- Ensure equipment availability for production
- Adhere to SOPs and HIRA during maintenance
- Maintain proper housekeeping post‑job
- Implement work permit system for all jobs
- Specify spares accurately
- Document job completion thoroughly
- Communicate abnormalities to reporting manager
- Manage general store inventory
- Maintain history cards for electrical equipment
- Produce electrical consumption reports and DPR
What you’ll bring

- Experience in refractory industries (crushers/presses, kilns, ovens)
- Wiremen‑B license holder
