About the role

The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment across the plant, ensuring compliance with EHS standards and uninterrupted production. Duties include troubleshooting circuits, starters, VFDs, UPS, ACs, DG sets, transformers, and panels; managing spare parts and history cards; preparing consumption reports and DPRs; and coordinating with cross‑functional teams. The electrician must follow SOPs, HIRA, and work‑permit procedures, maintain proper housekeeping, and document all activities. Strong knowledge of SLD, power/control circuit diagrams, and installation of lighting, earthing, fire alarm systems, and HVAC units is required. Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential for reporting abnormalities and maintaining equipment reliability.
