FX Confirmation & Settlement

About the role

State Street Markets (SSM) FX team builds global, automated confirmation and settlement workflows for institutional investors. The Vice President leads end‑to‑end FX confirmation, settlement, and transformation initiatives, driving technology upgrades and risk controls across Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bangalore. 4‑day work‑from‑office model with on‑site presence required.

What you’ll do

• Manage end‑to‑end FX confirmation and settlement processes
• Liaise with front office, compliance, finance, claims, and IT
• Lead transformation to a global standardized operating model
• Drive ISO 20022, TD+1, and bank‑wide initiatives
• Ensure accurate cash and securities delivery
• Maintain strong risk & control culture
• Partner with Technology for best‑in‑class workflow
• Support Change the Bank and Run the Bank projects
• Monitor BAU metrics and vendor oversight
• Ensure compliance with operational risk policies

What you’ll bring

• 15+ years in Financial Services
• Front‑to‑back FX confirmation & settlement expertise
• Experience with Interbank, Corporate, CLS, CLS_NET settlements
• Knowledge of ION, GTSS, Bloomberg, FXALL, SWIFT, Misys
• Strong risk mitigation and problem‑solving skills
• Automation initiative experience
• Regulatory and market change awareness
• Communication skills
