About the role
Markets Operations – Foreign Exchange Confirmations & Settlements team at State Street focuses on timely trade confirmation and settlement across global FX markets. The Senior Associate manages end‑to‑end FX confirmation and settlement processes, resolves fails, monitors unmatched trades, and partners with front‑office, compliance, finance, claims and IT teams to ensure seamless BAU. Hyderabad, India, 4 days onsite, hybrid schedule with late EMEA hours (4 pm‑1 am IST).
What you’ll do
- Validate and confirm FX trades (spot, forward, swap, NDFs, options) with counterparties
- Manage end‑to‑end FX confirmation and settlement to meet market deadlines
- Send and match trade confirmations via SWIFT, email, Misys, FXALL, GTSS, Bloomberg, CLS, LCH
- Monitor and resolve unmatched or disputed trades and discrepancies
- Liaise with front office, compliance, finance, claims, and IT teams throughout trade lifecycle
- Maintain records of confirmations and settlements and monitor nostro accounts
- Support audits and ensure compliance with operational risk policies
- Partner in process improvement, project management, and technology testing
What you’ll bring
- 5 to 7+ years experience in Financial Services
- Front‑to‑back knowledge of FX confirmation and settlement processes
- Hands‑on experience with Interbank, Corporate, CLS settlements
- Familiarity with ION, GTSS, Bloomberg, FXALL, Misys SWIFT
- Knowledge of securities, settlements, claims, rates, products
- Certification on NCFM or CISI
