Senior Associate, FX Confirmations & Settlements

About the role

Markets Operations – Foreign Exchange Confirmations & Settlements team at State Street ensures timely trade confirmation and settlement across global FX markets. The Senior Associate manages end‑to‑end FX confirmation, settlement, and netting processes, resolves trade discrepancies, and supports audits and process improvements. Hyderabad and Mumbai, India, 4 days onsite, on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Validate and confirm FX trades (spot, forward, swap, NDFs, options)
• Manage end‑to‑end FX confirmation and settlement process meeting market deadlines
• Send and match trade confirmations via SWIFT, email, and third‑party platforms
• Monitor and resolve unmatched or disputed trades
• Liaise with front office, compliance, finance, claims, and IT teams
• Maintain records of confirmations and settlements
• Support audits and ensure compliance with operational risk policies
• Participate in process improvement and technology projects

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years in financial services
• Front‑to‑back FX confirmation and settlement experience
• Hands‑on with SWIFT, Misys, FXall, GTSS, Bloomberg, CLS
• Knowledge of ION, GTSS, Bloomberg, FXALL systems
• Understanding of settlement/payment lifecycle

Education

Graduate and above preferably in Finance
