About the role

FX & Derivatives Operations team at J.P. Morgan India Branch drives operational excellence for foreign exchange and rates derivatives. The Associate oversees end‑to‑end trade lifecycle, ensures regulatory compliance, manages settlements and reporting, and partners with finance, compliance and legal groups. Mumbai, India, on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Oversee end‑to‑end trade lifecycle for FX forwards, options and rates derivatives
• Ensure compliance with FEDAI, CCIL and other regulatory guidelines
• Manage settlement and reconciliation processes including nostro and wash accounts
• Oversee regulatory reporting and GST computation
• Collaborate with internal partners across business, finance, compliance, legal and audit
• Communicate complex matters effectively to stakeholders
• Identify process gaps and develop practical solutions
• Support business expansion and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in markets operations or financial services
• Strong knowledge of FX forwards, options and rates derivatives lifecycle
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Self‑directed with strong ownership
• Solution‑oriented attitude
• Experience with automation tools such as Alteryx, UiPath, or Python
