About the role
Area Business Development Manager – Mortgages at MSME Business drives the Loan Against Property and Home Loan business across 25–35 branches in Ernakulam, Kerala. The role leads a team of Business Development Managers, sets performance targets, and ensures portfolio quality and regulatory compliance. Onsite in Ernakulam with a full‑time schedule, the position focuses on branch activation, cross‑sell of insurance products, and customer lifecycle management.
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage a team of Business Development Managers
- Drive performance through reviews, coaching, and motivation
- Conduct monthly performance appraisals
- Facilitate training and development
- Organise branch campaigns
- Maintain portfolio quality and manage delinquencies
- Ensure branch activation and BDM productivity
- Drive cross‑sell of insurance and liability products
- Manage customer lifecycle, retention, and satisfaction
