About the role

Manufacturing Engineering team at Caterpillar focuses on designing and optimizing machining processes and tooling to produce high‑quality parts efficiently. The Manager leads a multidisciplinary engineering group, overseeing tool design, equipment installation, capacity planning, lean manufacturing initiatives, and team development. Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra, India – on‑site, 5 days a week.

What you’ll do

• Lead manufacturing engineering teams and develop personnel
• Oversee tool design, assembly, cost estimating and systems planning
• Manage implementation and continuous improvement of operating methods and equipment
• Direct installation of new machines and process changes to enhance efficiency

What you’ll bring

B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have

10-18 years manufacturing engineering experience
