Customer Logistics Manager
About the role
Roche seeks a Customer Logistics Manager in Mumbai to oversee in-country distribution and Order-to-Cash, ensuring timely delivery of innovative medicines to customers and patients. Day-to-day, you will manage supply chain activities, partner with the Country Supply Manager on replenishment, implement SOPs and cost-to-serve models, and collaborate with local and global stakeholders to meet OTIF targets. This full-time role operates within Roche’s end-to-end supply chain operating model.
What you’ll do
- Ensure in-market supply on time, in full, at the right quality and cost
- Enable sustainable supply of medicines through smooth transacting along a robust CFA management process and timely Order Execution Delivery
- Ensure License to operate for supply chain order-to-cash and Import & custom duties processes
- Partner with the Country Supply Manager for upstream replenishment coordination from the central packaging site, including exception management
- Implement and monitor an efficient cost-to-serve model (including KPI metrics) and ensure OTIF targets are met
- Manage contracts and optimize performance with supply chain service providers, including establishing and monitoring KPI metrics
- Build strong, sustainable relationships with Warehouse/CFA service providers and conduct training for strict SOP adherence
- Define and implement SOPs for CFA management, build performance evaluation parameters, and monitor warehouse/distribution/logistics service provider operational costs
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree or degree in Supply Chain Management
- 10+ years of experience in operations within GMP production environments
- Proven expertise in distribution planning and supply chain planning
- Deep understanding of the distribution environment including Imports, Customs Authority regulations, transportation, health authority regulations, GXP, and country infrastructure
- Knowledgeable of SAP (SD module)
- Strong business, logistics, and supply chain acumen
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and execution skills
