About the role
Instrument Technician role focused on maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment in manufacturing settings. The position requires a solid foundation in electrical and instrumentation principles, with hands‑on experience in field instruments such as level, pressure, and temperature transmitters, as well as control valves. Candidates must be proficient in reviewing SLD, P&ID, and circuit diagrams, and possess troubleshooting skills for PLCs, VFDs, and DCS systems. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, adherence to EHS and SOPs, proper housekeeping, work‑permit management, and accurate documentation of maintenance activities. The role also involves managing spare parts specifications, general store inventory, and electrical consumption reporting. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with reporting managers are essential. Preferred experience in refractory industries and a Wiremen‑B license are advantageous. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.

- Manage work permit system
- Specify spares accurately
- Document maintenance activities
- Report abnormalities to manager
- Manage general store and history cards
- Track electrical consumption and DPR
What you’ll bring
- ITI in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation
- 4-6 years manufacturing experience
- Strong knowledge of field instruments
Nice to have
- Experience in refractory industries (crushers/presses, kilns, ovens)
- Wiremen-B license holder preferred
