About the role

Tech Infrastructure team at Coupang Internal builds and operates large‑scale cloud platforms that power critical services. The Staff Engineer designs, architects, and automates cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure and GCP, driving 99.999% availability and 10X scalability while mentoring multiple engineering teams. Bengaluru, on-site, Full-time.

What you’ll do

• Design and architect scalable cloud infrastructure and services
• Develop and maintain IaC pipelines and automation frameworks
• Ensure 99.999% availability and sub‑millisecond latency
• Lead technical influence across multiple engineering teams
• Analyze and optimize performance, cost, and security
• Collaborate with stakeholders on mission‑critical projects
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices in cloud operations
• Provide roadmap and vision for cloud platform growth

What you’ll bring

• 15+ years cloud platform engineering experience
• 10+ years system engineering, Cloud DevOps and SRE
• 7+ years leading design/architecture on AWS or Azure
• 10+ years infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• AWS Advanced Architect certification
• Strong Kubernetes, Docker, Linux expertise
• Proficient in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub)
• Excellent cross‑group collaboration and communication
