Investment Compliance Senior Associate

About the role

State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) Investment Compliance team ensures mutual fund clients meet SEC and prospectus guidelines. The Senior Associate builds and maintains compliance rule matrices, conducts annual reviews, and supports clients and internal teams with regulatory reporting. Bangalore, on-site role, hybrid collaboration with global teams.

What you’ll do

• Onboard new clients by translating prospectus mandates into compliance rule matrices
• Maintain and update compliance rules in the system with coding team
• Perform annual compliance rule reviews against updated prospectuses
• Research ad‑hoc compliance queries and provide reporting
• Identify operational risks and recommend procedural improvements
• Ensure timely issue resolution and escalation of suspicious transactions
• Participate in cross‑functional projects and committees

What you’ll bring

• 4+ years fund administration or investment compliance experience
• Knowledge of U.S. Investment Companies Act of 1940 or UCITS
• Proficiency with Alteryx workflow design
• SQL knowledge
• University degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
