About the role
EY's Global Delivery Services seeks a Senior Consultant for Investment Compliance in Bengaluru. This on-site position requires 7+ years of experience to ensure regulatory adherence and data quality.
What you’ll do
- Perform analytical review of Investment Guidelines and annotate legal agreements
- Code client and regulatory rules on compliance platforms and conduct rule testing
- Set up counterparties, brokers, and restricted lists for trading maintenance
- Partner with operations teams to improve data availability and quality
- Identify coding issues to avoid false positives and ensure accuracy
- Research ad-hoc queries from the compliance reporting team regarding portfolio alignment
- Analyze operations risks and recommend procedural changes
- Supervise team members, allocate personnel, and optimize task execution
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years of experience in Asset Management or Capital Markets
- Expertise in Rule coding for financial products and regulations
- Proficiency with LZ Sentinel, Charles River, Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, or ThinkFolio
- Strong analytical skills to interpret Investment Guidelines and Agreements
- Knowledge of 1940 Act, UCITS Regulations, or ERISA is advantageous
