About the role
Operation Hardware and Apps team at Tata Technologies supports vehicle hardware and connected app ecosystems. Engineers diagnose TCU resets, OTA failures, CAN/OBD anomalies, and troubleshoot mobile app issues across Android and iOS, collaborating with cloud and vehicle engineering. Role is based in Pune, on-site, with hands‑on work on diagnostic toolkits, HIL/SIL setups, and OTA regression checks.
What you’ll do
- Diagnose hardware‑linked failures in connected vehicles
- Analyze OBD, UART logs and telematics traces
- Validate OTA trials and regression checks
- Support mobile app issue investigation and reproduction
- Coordinate cross‑domain fixes with cloud, app, and vehicle teams
- Maintain diagnostic toolkits, checklists, and versioned playbooks
What you’ll bring
- 2-6 years automotive electronics experience
- Hands‑on with CAN, LIN, OBD diagnostics
- Experience with OTA workflows and rollback safety
- Proficient in Android & iOS app debugging
- Familiar with CANalyzer, Postman, Charles Proxy
