About the role
Global Operations team at Flexport drives end‑to‑end supply chain excellence for customers worldwide. As an Assistant Manager, Ocean Operations you will coordinate ocean freight logistics across the ISC region, ensuring shipments move on‑time and handling exceptions, while collaborating with carriers, customs, and warehouses. New Delhi, India – on‑site role, hybrid schedule as needed.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate day‑to‑day logistics with ocean carriers, cartage partners, customs, and warehouses
- Execute end‑to‑end movement of freight within the regional network
- Maintain internal KPIs and SLAs for quality and on‑time performance
- Escalate and resolve client issues per SOPs
- Collaborate with peers and supervisors to drive process improvements
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years global forwarding or related experience
- 4+ years ocean freight, import compliance, or warehousing experience
- Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills
