About the role

Transportation BIM team at Egis drives digital modeling for complex infrastructure projects. The Principal BIM Technician leads development, coordination, and quality assurance of BIM models for highways, railways, and transit systems, mentoring junior staff and enforcing standards. Bengaluru office, on-site work model, with opportunities to shape BIM processes across regional projects.

What you’ll do

• Develop and manage comprehensive BIM models for transportation projects
• Establish and enforce BIM standards and protocols across teams
• Perform clash detection, coordination analysis, and 3D model reviews
• Mentor and supervise junior BIM technicians and CAD specialists
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to translate requirements into BIM workflows
• Manage BIM data, version control, and file organization
• Prepare BIM coordination reports and technical documentation
• Integrate external consultants' BIM deliverables into master models

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years BIM/CAD experience
• 5+ years transportation infrastructure projects
• Advanced Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks proficiency
• Expertise in ISO 19650 and LOD standards
• Leadership and mentoring of technical teams
• Strong project management and analytical skills
• Proficiency in CAD and project management tools
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration
