About the role
US-GCC T&I Team at WSP, the global engineering consultancy, delivers bridge design and BIM solutions. The Principal BIM Technician leads creation and maintenance of structural engineering drawings using Autodesk and Bentley tools, develops CAD/BIM templates, and mentors technicians while coordinating with project engineers and US clients. Based in Noida with hybrid work model, occasional travel to Mumbai and client sites may be required.
What you’ll do
- Lead preparation of engineering drawings per WSP CAD standards
- Develop and maintain CAD/BIM templates and libraries
- Coordinate drawing priorities with project engineers and US team
- Provide technical support and guidance to CAD/BIM technicians
- Ensure document control and compliance with standards
- Mentor team and share knowledge across GCC
What you’ll bring
- Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 15+ years BIM/structural drafting experience
Nice to have
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Proficient in Microstation
- Experience with Civil 3D
- Experience with Open Bridge Modeler
- Strong communication skills
- Project management experience
