Operations Program Manager

About the role

Apple Product Operations team drives factory operations and cross‑functional initiatives that impact product readiness and manufacturing performance. The Operations Program Manager partners with senior leaders and technical teams to define objectives, solve problems, and lead programs from concept through implementation, while traveling up to 50% to domestic and international sites. Role based in India with on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Drive factory operations and cross‑functional initiatives impacting product readiness
• Partner with senior leaders and technical teams to define objectives and solve problems
• Lead programs from concept through implementation
• Operationalize and scale new products
• Manage travel up to ~50% for domestic/international sites
• Facilitate consensus and influence stakeholders
• Translate requirements into structured program plans
• Ensure production readiness and execution across manufacturing lifecycle

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years program management in high volume manufacturing
• Experience in manufacturing environments (factory operations, production readiness, labor workflows, materials management)
• Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or similar

Nice to have

• MBA from premier institute
• Exceptional executive communication skills
• Proven ability to influence without authority
• Translate ambiguous requirements into program plans
• Experience in operations, manufacturing engineering, process engineering, supply chain
• Build cross‑functional teams in matrix organization
• Strategic thinking with tactical execution
• Knowledge of world class supply chain practices
