Lab Manager (GM), Power Electronics Lab

About the role

Power Electronics Lab at L&T EPS Industrial R&D. Leads creation and management of a world‑class hardware test facility, overseeing equipment procurement, LabVIEW automation, safety layout, and regulatory compliance. Works onsite in Bengaluru, coordinating with technical consultants, electrical contractors, and equipment manufacturers to support R&D and manufacturing test operations.

What you’ll do

• Create and maintain R&D lab infrastructure and safety layout
• Procure, install, and commission test equipment and automation solutions
• Develop LabVIEW‑based automated test procedures
• Manage equipment calibration, maintenance, and regulatory approvals
• Oversee assembly, wiring, and rework facilities and teams
• Coordinate product qualification testing and repair center operations

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years managing large hardware labs or electronic test facilities
• Experience with power conversion equipment R&D labs
• Proficiency in LabVIEW for test automation
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience coordinating procurement and installation of test equipment
