About the role

Axis Bank seeks a Branch Operations Head for its Nanjangud branch to manage daily operations and drive financial performance. The role involves leading tellers and customer service officers, ensuring regulatory compliance, and resolving client issues. This on-site position requires 7-9 years of banking experience.

What you’ll do

• Direct daily branch operations including cash, clearing, and account management
• Manage and train tellers and customer service officers
• Ensure compliance with banking rules, regulations, and policies
• Resolve customer complaints maintaining high service standards
• Achieve aggregate cross-sell points and growth in account balances
• Control income leakage and monitor anti-money laundering procedures
• Handle internal and external audit processes and queries
• Review branch operations reports and track exceptional transactions

What you’ll bring

• Graduation or Post-Graduation (MBA-Marketing preferred)
• 7 - 9 Years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of banking products and services
• Understanding of regulatory guidelines and norms
