About the role
Branch Banking at Axis Bank oversees all branch operations, driving deposit mobilization and customer engagement across retail services. The Branch Head leads daily operations, sales, lending, and compliance while crafting growth plans with the Cluster Head to meet financial targets. Kolkata, on-site, 5 days a week, with relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Ensure efficient daily branch operations including lending, product sales and customer service
- Develop and execute growth plans to achieve top‑line goals
- Maintain and deepen relationships with key customers to generate revenue
- Review reports and take proactive actions for profitable and ethical business
- Ensure audit deliverables and compliance with regulations
- Foster a performance‑oriented environment with high employee motivation
- Train staff on products, sales processes and policies
- Coordinate with cluster and other branches for smooth operations
What you’ll bring
- Graduate/MBA (Marketing) preferred
- NCFM certification
- AMFI certification
- 10-15 years BFSI experience
