About the role

Axis Bank seeks a Branch Head for its Bicholim location to oversee branch operations and drive financial performance. The role involves managing daily activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening relationships with key clients to boost revenue. This is an on-site position requiring extensive banking sector experience.

What you’ll do

• Ensure efficient daily operation of the branch including lending and sales
• Prepare and implement growth plans to achieve top-line goals
• Establish and strengthen relations with key customers
• Review reports and take proactive action for profitable business
• Ensure audit deliverables and regulatory compliance are met
• Create a performance-oriented environment for high employee motivation
• Train staff on products, sales processes, and policies
• Resolve disruptions and ensure smooth branch operations

What you’ll bring

• Graduate or MBA in Marketing from a recognized institute
• 8-12 years of experience in the BFSI sector
• NCFM and AMFI Certifications
• Knowledge of banking products and services
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and local language
• Ability to manage complex client situations
• Ability to manage risk and uncertainty for self and team
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
